Joanie and Larry Sheckells take down their Christmas decorations on Hickory Avenue in Hampden. The Sheckells started decorating in earnest after their first grandson Kayin Sentz was born in 2010, and the number of decorations have increased every year. This season John Waters posted a photo of himself in front of their home on Instagram with the comment, “Baltimore Christmas decorations are next level!”
