Towson alum Kacy Catanzaro stumbles in ‘Warrior’ return

Kacy Catanzaro, the Towson University alumna who set the bar for women on TV's “American Ninja Warrior,” returned to the show Monday night in the Oklahoma City qualifying rounds, but failed to make it to the finals after a stumble during the third challenge.
The 5-foot, 95-pound former gymnast fell into the water during an event that required her to cross a series of unstable logs to the next platform.
But there’s still hope for a local “Ninja” champion. You can watch Olney’s Geoff Britten (a previous winner), Baltimore firefighter Nick Green and Hampden bartender Jason Hammonds compete in the Philadelphia qualifying rounds at 9 p.m. Monday on NBC.
