One of former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley's daughters, Grace O'Malley, married J.D. Merrill in a ceremony of around 150 guests June 18.

“It was a very Baltimore wedding,” said the Rev. Kevin O'Brien, chaplain at Georgetown University, who presided. The couple were married at St. Ignatius Church on North Calvert Street in a Catholic ceremony that included Quaker elements. The groom is Quaker.

A little Instagram snooping revealed that the reception was at the Baltimore Museum of Art. There was something of an early-1900s theme, with votive candles in textured holders and wedding flowers that looked as if they had been plucked from an English garden.
