Hopkins rebounds, rips Diplomats, 45-7
Bowie State coasts to sixth straight triumph
Host Johns Hopkins bounced back from its first regular season loss in nearly five years with a 45-7 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday afternoon.
David Tammaro completed 32 of 45 for 418 yards and five touchdown passes for the Blue Jays (5-1, 4-1 Centennial Conference). The Diplomats (5-1, 4-1) were held to one scoring drive in the second quarter.
Alex Potocko made a 34-yard field goal for a 3-0 lead with 7:01 left in the first quarter. Salisbury got two rushing touchdowns in the third quarter from Dandre Dennis and Brady Curley.
Dickinson put together an eight-play, 65-yard drive to win. The Green Terror (3-3, 2-3) were held to a season-low in points.
