Angels: DH Albert Pujols became the ninth player in major-league history to reach 600 homers when he hit a fourth-inning grand slam against the Twins on Saturday. He’s the first to reach the milestone with a grand slam. Pujols, 37, is the fourth-youngest to hit 600 and joins Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron as the only players with 600 homers and 600 doubles.

Yankees: OF Brett Gardner, DH Matt Holliday, 2B Starlin Castro and SS Didi Gregorius hit solo homers in the eighth off Jason Grilli, leading Jordan Montgomery and the Yankees to a 7-0 win over the Blue Jays. The Yankees tied the club record for most homers in an inning, first set in 1977 and last equaled in 2012. All eight of their hits went for extra bases, including doubles by Castro and Gregorius.

Royals: After serving up a pair of homers in the second inning, RHP Jason Hammel allowed only two more hits while pitching into the seventh, leading the Royals to a 12-5 victory over the Indians. Hammel struck out seven in picking up his first win since May 5. OF Lorenzo Cain had a two-run homer as part of the Royals’ six-run fifth.

Dodgers: OF Chris Taylor hit a go-ahead grand slam off reliever Carlos Torres in a five-run ninth inning, and the Dodgers rallied late for the second straight day to beat the Brewers 10-8.

Athletics: 3B Ryon Healy had two doubles and two homers, 2B Jed Lowrie doubled twice and homered, and the A’s beat the Nationals 10-4. Healy’s four extra-base hits tied a franchise record accomplished by 16 others since 1913.

Braves: 1B Matt Adams hit his first career grand slam and connected again for a solo home run in the 12th inning, powering the Braves to a 6-5 win over the Reds.

Phillies: RHP Ben Lively threw seven strong innings in his major-league debut, OF Odubel Herrera drove in three runs in a four-run seventh inning and the Phillies held on for a 5-3 victory over the Giants.

Extra innings: 3B Nolan Arenado hit his 14th homer, 1B Ian Desmond added a grand slam and the Rockies stopped the Padres’ five-game winning streak with a 10-1 victory. ... The Nationals’ 13-3 victory over the A’s on Friday night gave manager Dusty Baker the 1,800th win of his career. The Giants’ Bruce Bochy, with 1,813, is the only active manager ahead of Baker. ... Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre had two extra-base hits Friday, giving him 1,076 for his career and pushing him past Reggie Jackson for 24th on the all-time list.
