A 21-year-old man died Friday after an apparent shooting in West Baltimore’s Druid Heights neighborhood, according to a statement from the Baltimore Police Department.

Western District patrol officers responded to the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue around 1:49 p.m. Friday after receiving ShotSpotter alerts. The victim, who has yet to be identified by police, was transported to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Medical staff at the hospital later pronounced him dead, the department said.
