For the third year in a row, the Wine Village, created by the founders of Christmas Village, will return to Baltimore this spring with more activities, food and wine, organizers said Tuesday in a news release.

Baltimoreans can explore the German-inspired event from May 8 to June 1 at West Shore Park in the Inner Harbor. Wine Village, founded in 2022, will feature local and international wines, food vendors, a carousel and other arts and crafts.

“The overwhelming support from the community in our first two years has been incredible and we’re dedicated to making this year’s event even more memorable,” said CEO Thomas Baur in the release. “We’ve expanded our wine and food lineup to appeal to a broader audience while maintaining the favorites that have become traditions to our visitors.”

The free event will be home to five wine booths offering 30 different wine selections, according to the release. The event has also added more seating along the fountain and lawn area, partnered with M8 Beer, a local brewery in South Baltimore, introduced a kebab booth and will showcase its first-ever vegan booth.

Also new this year on the beverages front: lemon stick cocktails and drinks served in cored pineapples.

The new sweets booth — The Inner Harbor Freeze — will serve some of Baltimore’s summertime classics like snowballs, shaved ice and frozen custard.

In addition to an array of booths, visitors can take home a limited-edition Wine Village collector’s cup that will be available at every beverage stand, organizers said.

Returning favorites include the slushie booth, offering new flavors like the Black Eyed Susan Slush, Peach Cobbler and returning flavors like Tropical Twist.

To top off the endless food and drink options, visitors can also enjoy free movie screenings every Thursday from 8-10 p.m.

Wine Village will be open Monday through Thursday from 3-10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 1-10 p.m. Mother’s Day and Memorial Day will run from 1-10 p.m.
