Texas A&M, Florida, Baylor upset; Wisconsin, Penn St., Va. Tech win
Curtis Samuel had 178 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard touchdown reception on Ohio State's first play of the second half, and the sixth-ranked Buckeyes dominated No. 10 Nebraska, 62-3, on Saturday night.
Ohio State (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) led 31-3 at the half and handed the visiting Cornhuskers (7-2, 4-2) their most lopsided loss since 2004.
Nebraska lost quarterback Tommy Armstrong to a head injury in the second quarter, when the senior slammed the side of his helmet on the turf after being knocked out of bounds. Armstrong was taken from the stadium in an ambulance but returned to the sideline in sweats in the third quarter.
Mississippi State 35, No. 4 Texas A&M 28: Nick Fitzgerald ran for 182 yards and two touchdowns, Aeris Williams added a career-high 140 yards and the host Bulldogs (4-5, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) upset the Aggies (7-2, 4-2).
Texas A&M starting quarterback Trevor Knight was knocked out of the game in the second quarter with an apparent right shoulder injury and didn't return.
Arkansas 31, No. 11 Florida 10: Rawleigh Williams rushed for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Razorbacks (6-3, 2-3 SEC) defeated the visiting Gators (6-2, 4-2) for the first time since 1982.
No. 8 Wisconsin 21, Northwestern 7:Corey Clement ran for 106 yards and a score, Jazz Peavy scored on a 46-yard run and the Badgers (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten Conference) beat the host Wildcats (4-5, 3-3).
Conor Sheehy forced a fumble when he sacked Clayton Thorson with Northwestern threatening early in the fourth quarter. That led to Clements' 2-yard touchdown run that made it a 14-point game.
No. 12 Penn State 41, Iowa 14: Saquon Barkley accounted for 211 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns as the host Nittany Lions (7-2, 5-1 Big Ten) beat the Hawkeyes (5-4, 3-3).
TCU 62, No. 17 Baylor 22: Kyle Hicks ran for a career-high 192 yards with five touchdowns and the visiting Horned Frogs (5-4, 3-3 Big 12 Conference) beat the Bears (6-2, 3-2).
No. 19 Virginia Tech 24, Duke 21: Adonis Alexander returned a blocked field goal 75 yards for a touchdown, and the visiting Hokies (7-2, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) held on to beat the Blue Devils (3-6, 0-5) and remain in control of the Coastal Division race.
Illinois 31, Michigan State 27: Jeff George Jr. threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns, the second a 16-yarder to Sam Mays with 1:35 left, as the host Fighting Illini (3-6, 2-4 Big Ten) handed the Spartans (2-7, 0-6) their seventh straight loss.
Air Force 31, Army West Point 12: Arion Worthman passed for 195 yards and a touchdown as the Falcons (6-3) beat the host Black Knights (5-4) to win the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.
