A Johns Hopkins University bus crashed into a building Saturday in Charles Village, Baltimore Police said. According to police, the crash occurred between a bus and smaller vehicle at the intersection of 25th and Charles streets around 5:19 p.m. The impact from the crash sent the bus into the building, police said. Hopkins said several people were hospitalized following the crash. However, police said they were aware of only one injury and it was not life-threatening.

“The driver and several passengers were transported to area hospitals, and we are working to identify and reach out to all of the shuttle passengers,” a Johns Hopkins University spokesperson said in a statement.

“We are fully cooperating with BPD’s continuing investigation of the accident, and we will update our community as more information becomes available.”
