A woman was pronounced dead in Druid Hill Park on Monday morning, and homicide detectives are investigating another apparent shooting in Northwest Baltimore, according to Baltimore Police.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of Crows Nest Road around 8:08 a.m. for the report of an unresponsive person, according to a news release from the police department. A woman was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Responding medics pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.

Hours later, around 10:46 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of West Belvedere Avenue, which crosses the Langston Hughes and Woodmere neighborhoods, for the report of a shooting, police said in the release.

Upon arrival, police located an unidentified man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

According to the release, the victim was transported to an area hospital, where his condition remains unknown.

Due to the injury, police said homicide detectives have been notified.
