Anderson, Weick help Mids top Army
Dickson free throws lift Mount women

Shawn Anderson and Evan Weick scored 16 of their combined 25 points in the second half and Tom Lacey finished with 10 points and nine rebounds to help Navy beat Army West Point, 68-59, on Saturday.
Anderson finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists, Hasan Abdullah scored 11 points and George Kiernan added seven points and eight rebounds for Navy (17-10, 8-6 Patriot League).
Jordan Fox made two free throws and then a 3-pointer to pull Army (13-12, 6-8) within six points with eight minutes to play, but the Black Knights would get no closer.
Bryant 79, Mt. St. Mary’s 77: The visiting Mount (15-12, 9-5 Northeast Conference) put together a second-half rally that fell short as they lost to the Bulldogs (3-24, 2-12). Junior Robinson scored 30 points and Bryant halted Mount’s five-game winning streak. Bryant shot 61.5 percent from the field in the first half to take a 40-33 lead.
Savannah State 97, Morgan State 94, OT:Alante Fenner scored 46 points to lead the host Tigers (12-13, 9-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) past the Bears (9-15, 5-6).
Savannah State outscored Morgan State, 8-5, in overtime.
Bethune-Cookman 87, UMES 67: Isaiah Bailey scored a career-high 24 points to lead the host Wildcats (13-12, 7-3 MEAC) past the Hawks (6-20. 2-9).
Women
Mt. St. Mary’s 55, Fairleigh Dickinson 53: Katrice Dickson made the game-winning free throws with five seconds left as part of her career-high 24-point performance to lift the visiting Mount (8-15, 5-7 Northeastern Conference) over the Knights (14-9, 6-6).
Fairleigh Dickinson was trailing by one with just 15 seconds left in the game when Madelynn Comly was fouled and went to the line. Comly went 1-of-2 for a 53-53 tie.
Navy 55, Army West Point 46: Taylor Dunham made 18 points to lead the visiting Mids (19-4, 9-3 Patriot League) past the Black Knights (12-11, 5-7). Madison Hovren had a game-high 20 points for Army.
Morgan State 70, Savannah State 41: The visiting Bears (12-11, 5-5 MEAC) opened with a 20-8 run and beat the Tigers (4-17, 1-8). Lexus Spears and Tykyrah Williams both scored 19 points for Morgan State.
Lafayette 73, Loyola Maryland 64: Alexis Gray had a career-high 22 points, but the host Greyhounds (7-17, 5-8 Patriot League) fell to the Leopards (9-14, 5-8). Lafayette took the lead for good in the second quarter and led by as many as 11 points.
Bethune-Cookman 73, UMES 61: The host Wildcats (18-4, 10-0 MEAC) won their 10th straight. Ciani Byrom had 12 points for the Hawks (7-16, 4-7). The score was tied at 16 in the first quarter before Bethune-Cookman took a 32-29 lead.
