Davis sparks Pelicans to 1st victory
Anthony Davis hit two free throws with 12 seconds left and scored 32 points as the Pelicans won their first game, beating the Bucks, 112-106, on Thursday night in Milwaukee.
The Pelicans had started 0-8.
The 76ers (0-7) are the only winless team left in the NBA.
The Bucks lost their second straight game to a team that was winless. On Sunday, they fell, 86-75 in overtime, to the Mavericks, who had been 0-5.
Kevin Durant's string of 72 straight regular-season games with at least 20 points ended when he scored 18 in the Warriors' 125-101 victory over the Nuggets.
