A Pasadena teen died Thursday after being injured in a Federal Hill shooting in October that had paralyzed her and also wounded a 28-year-old man, according to Baltimore Police.

Cameran Holt, 19, died after spending 11 days in the hospital following the Oct. 27 shooting on the unit block of West Hamburg Street, where police said they responded at 3:43 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

Police did not release Holt’s name in a Friday morning news release confirming Holt had died, though her mother, Roxanne Spath, had identified her daughter as the 19-year-old girl who was shot. Spath told FOX45 News that a bullet hit Holt in the spine that night as she, her sister and a friend were attempting to leave the area in Holt’s car.

A 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds also checked into a hospital that night, and investigators determined he was also injured on Hamburg Street. No arrests have been made in the case, which is now a homicide investigation. Asked if either of the victims had been targeted, a police spokesperson said that there was no motive listed in the case.

Spath, who has been posting regular updates about her daughter’s recovery on her public Facebook page, posted Thursday night that Holt had died shortly before 8 p.m., noting the 19-year-old’s “big heart” and liver were being donated.

“That’s how beautiful my baby girl is,” Spath wrote.
