Camari Wilkerson, who had a game-high 31 points, could not get his game-tying attempt to fall and Annapolis (13-4) held on for a 57-54 boys basketball victory over host Old Mill (13-5) on Tuesday.

Wilkerson made four field goals in the first quarter and scored 14 points total in the first half, as the Patriots trailed 28-27 at halftime.

No. 8 Meade 65, South River 36: Tristan Easton scored 11 points to lead the host Mustangs (14-3) past the Seahawks (7-9).

Meade went on a 15-5 run in the second quarter for a 28-15 halftime lead.

Arundel 59, Chesapeake-AA 44: Hallie Persell scored 13 points, but the host Cougars (10-7) fell to the Wildcats (10-4).
