Freshman Teddy Ndje scored in the first half and Jack Houley added a goal in the second half as No. 10 Gilman beat visiting St. Mary's-Ryken, 2-0, in boys soccer Saturday.

The Greyhounds improved to 6-3-3 and the Knights fell to 3-4-1. Gilman has won four of its past five games. The only non-win of the past five was a 2-2 overtime tie with No. 2 Calvert Hall on Sept. 30.

St. John's-Catholic Prep at Annapolis Area Christian, ppd.: Saturday's game between the Vikings (3-1, 3-0 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association C Conference) and host Eagles (4-2, 2-1) has been postponed until Monday at 3:15 p.m.

St. John's-Catholic Prep previously beat Annapolis Area Christian, 16-12, on Sept. 2.

Girls volleyball

Glenelg Country d. Arundel Christian, 3-0: The host Dragons (4-2) had 14 kills, including four by Joy Hursey, and beat the Warriors.

Glenelg Country won, 25-6, 25-11, 25-15.
