Gilman soccer beats St. Mary's-Ryken
Freshman Teddy Ndje scored in the first half and Jack Houley added a goal in the second half as No. 10 Gilman beat visiting St. Mary's-Ryken, 2-0, in boys soccer Saturday.
The Greyhounds improved to 6-3-3 and the Knights fell to 3-4-1. Gilman has won four of its past five games. The only non-win of the past five was a 2-2 overtime tie with No. 2 Calvert Hall on Sept. 30.
Football
St. John's-Catholic Prep previously beat Annapolis Area Christian, 16-12, on Sept. 2.
Glenelg Country won, 25-6, 25-11, 25-15.
