Raiders DEs Mario Edwards Jr. and Khalil Mack vs. Ravens OTs Austin Howard and Ronnie Stanley:Both Stanley and Howard have struggled lately, especially in the past two games. Mack is third on the team with 23 tackles and has a team-high four sacks. Edwards has only 10, but three of those are sacks. If the Ravens get behind, the Raiders will turn Edwards and Mack loose in the pass rush. Edge:Raiders
Raiders QB EJ Manuel and RB Marshawn Lynch vs. Ravens OLBs Terrell Suggs, Matthew Judon and Za’Darius Smith:Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers repeatedly got around the edge on the Ravens and the Raiders will try to do the same thing. With the Ravens missing two starting defensive linemen, teams are willing to grind it out against them. The Ravens have to contain Manuel. For that to happen, the Ravens need to be disciplined and hold the edge. Edge:Even
Raiders WR Amari Cooper vs. Ravens CBs Jimmy Smith, Brandon Carr and Marlon Humphrey: Cooper is one of the most exciting players in the NFL and has 12 catches for 110 yards. The Raiders use Cooper outside and also in the slot, which means he could match up with any of the Ravens corners. All three of the cornerbacks have played well this season and both Smith and Humphrey have been physical at the line of scrimmage. Carr isn’t quite as gifted physically, but he has been solid most of the season. Edge:Ravens
