Every day, it’s been a little bit more progress for Kevin Durant and his rehabbing left knee, which he injured three weeks ago.

With the Warriors back at practice Thursday after their recent road trip, Durant wore a game-like knee brace under his tights and tested his healing MCL sprain and bone bruise in team drills for the first time.

“(He) went through some 5-on-0 stuff, (made) some lateral movement,” coach Steve Kerr said. “Seems like he makes a new stride each day. It’s a good sign.

“We’ll be in Houston and San Antonio on Tuesday and Wednesday, so chances are KD goes on that trip with us and then gets re-evaluated by our doctors on Thursday.”

Kings G Ty Lawson denied during a brief court appearance in Denver that he violated his probation in a Colorado drunken driving case by drinking and failing to complete community service.
