Meeting set on plans for courthouse
$139 million project would replace Dorsey building, be done in summer 2021
County officials will host a meeting this month to discuss plans for the new Howard County Circuit Courthouse project. The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 21, in the cafeteria at Howard High School, 8700 Old Annapolis Road in Ellicott City.
Last year county officials estimated the cost of the project at about $139 million.
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball described the project as “the largest capital project in the history of our county,” and said “its innovative public-private partnership approach... is already drawing national attention.”
County employees and representatives from Edgemoor-Star America Judicial Partners will be on hand to discuss the project and gather public comment. Stations will be set up to facilitate discussions on aspects of
