Red ruled the red carpet at this year's Emmys. The hits ranged from Priyanka Chopra's flowing red Jason Wu dress to Tatiana Maslany in a jaw-dropping Alexander Wang column cutout dress.

Other colors that made strong showings were white (Tracee Ellis Ross, Heidi Klum) and pale yellow (Emily Robinson).

The overall vibe was pretty, with cutouts, floral embroidery and hair that was soft, tousled and swept back giving a slightly casual look. Hey, it's just a red carpet after all.
