Arundel relied on an unrelenting attack and stout defense to blank North County, 16-0, Monday in girls lacrosse.

The visiting Wildcats, playing in their first game since the South River Girls Lacrosse Showcase over the weekend, got back-to-back goals from Caroline Keane and Shannon Godwin in the first two minutes and never looked back.

“I think we’re coming together well,” Arundel coach Jason Gilman said. “We’re still young, but overall it’s just a great group of girls.”

Kathleen Bevan, who led Arundel (2-1) with seven shots on goal, scored three goals. Gabby Lavin scored twice, Caroline Keane and Kayla Ross each scored twice and Delaney Norr, Alexis Galarza and Sydney Gilman scored a goal apiece.
