TWINS: RHP Lance Lynn agreed to a one-year contract, according to reports. Lynn, 30, has been a double-digit winner five times in six seasons with the Cardinals and has a 3.38 career ERA. After missing the 2016 season because of Tommy John surgery, he went 11-8 with a 3.43 ERA in 2017. Lynn is the sixth free agent to sign with the Twins, joining Logan Morrison, Addison Reed, Zach Duke, Fernando Rodney and Anibal Sanchez.

ROYALS: OF Jorge Bonifacio was suspended 80 games after testing positive for the performance-enhancing substance Boldenone. Bonifacio hit .255 with 17 home runs and 40 RBIs in 113 games as a rookie last season. The Royals are reshuffling the outfield after Lorenzo Cain left.

YANKEES:Giancarlo Stanton slugged his first home run with the Yankees, ending Mets RHP Matt Harvey’s day with a two-run shot in the fifth inning of a 10-3 win. The drive ended Stanton’s homerless drought at 20 at-bats, though he does have seven hits and is hitting .333. Harvey went 42/3 innings, giving up five runs, six hits and one walk with two strikeouts.

ANGELS:Mike Trout’s first spring home run cleared the batter’s eye in a 9-8 split-squad loss to the Giants. Trout, who entered the game 1-for-14, had three hits in five innings. “I just ... barreled it,” Trout said. “We try to do it in BP all the time, so it’s pretty cool to do it in a game.”
