Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee renewed their skepticism of Attorney General Pam Bondi amid a push to release critical records concerning sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Bondi last month promised to release the highly anticipated Epstein client list, but instead gave a select group of conservative influencers a binder titled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1.” Details of that release appeared hazy with one binder recipient Jack Posobiec noting on his show Real America’s Voice “there’s all sorts of things in here.”
The Senate Judiciary Democrats account questioned Bondi’s commitment to releasing the full batch of documents and shared a photo of Epstein and President Donald Trump together.
“Pam Bondi is SITTING on the Epstein files right now after a cheap stunt that released no new information last week,” it wrote. “But it’s part of a bigger pattern of years of entanglement between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. WHAT’RE THEY HIDING?”
The post contained other photos of Trump administration figures Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell.
“BOTH Pam Bondi and Kash Patel talked a big game about releasing the Epstein files,” the account wrote. “What are they waiting for?”
The account renewed its skepticism recently, writing “Oh, and Pam Bondi just put the attorney who successfully prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell ON LEAVE.”
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., on Wednesday told journalist Patrick Howley he would put pressure on Bondi to release the complete Epstein files.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, also said he was confident Bondi would release the files. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., in February expressed outrage after several conservative social media influencers appeared to receive the Epstein files before her own task force had.
“THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment,” she fumed on X. “GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!”
