Stevie Nicks’ solo career is getting a deluxe box set this summer.
Her “Complete Studio Albums & Rarities” will be released July 28 as a 10-CD set that includes each of the former Fleetwood Mac singer’s solo albums. It will also feature a remastered collection of 23 hard-to-find rarities and B-sides, including her cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth,” which she recorded last year.
There will also be 3,000 vinyl editions of the box set — on 16 discs — sold.
Ahead of the box set’s release, Nicks made “One More Big Time Rock & Roll Star,” a 1985 B-side, available for digital purchase and on streaming services.
The release comes ahead of a summer and fall of tour dates, both solo and with Billy Joel. The tour dates are her first since the death of former bandmate Christine McVie.
Nicks has sold nearly 10 million albums in the U.S. and was the first woman to be inducted twice into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of Fleetwood Mac and then as a solo artist.
O’Brien officiates Richter’s wedding: Conan O’Brien and his longtime creative partner, Andy Richter, reunited over the weekend to celebrate a special occasion. The former “Conan” host officiated his comedic sidekick’s wedding to talent agent Jennifer Herrera on Saturday in West Hollywood.
The actor and TV writer — who served as O’Brien’s right-hand man for most of his late-night career — revealed Monday at the Tribeca Festival that O’Brien stepped in to officiate the ceremony at the last minute after Herrera’s friend wasn’t able to make it. Richter described the nuptials as a “nice,” “low-key house party.”
Kingsolver wins Women’s Prize for Fiction: American novelist Barbara Kingsolver won the prestigious Women’s Prize for Fiction Wednesday with “Demon Copperhead,” the Dickens- inspired tale of a boy’s struggle against the odds in a corner of America scarred by opioid addiction.
Kingsolver’s Appalachian coming-of-age tale was announced as winner of the $38,000 award at a ceremony in London.
Kingsolver, 68, also won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for fiction for the novel, which transplants Charles Dickens’ “David Copperfield” to modern-day southwest Virginia, where the author lives.
