It's official: Lady Gaga will headline the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show at NRG Stadium in Houston on Feb. 5.

The singer announced via Twitter on Thursday that she will be performing: “It's not an illusion. The rumors are true,” she wrote in a tweet. “This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA!”

This Super Bowl won't be Gaga's first big game. She sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year in Santa Clara, Calif. Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Coldplay headlined the halftime show. Performing her hit “Formation,” Beyonce's dancers were dressed Black Panthers-esque, becoming part of a show that made waves for its political messaging.

No word yet on who else will join Gaga for her halftime performance at Super Bowl LI.

Last year's Super Bowl, a 24-10 victory by the Denver Broncos over the Carolina Panthers, was the third- most-watched in the history of the game, averaging 111.9 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. Viewership peaked at 115.5 million during the halftime show.

Past halftime performers include Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson with Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones and Madonna.

The Super Bowl airs on Fox.
