The battle between President Donald Trump and rock star Bruce Springsteen could use a little human touch.

The president had some fun on his Truth Social and X accounts, posting a doctored video of him hitting the singer with a golf ball.

In the video, Trump is shown hitting a golf ball off the tee, then the video cuts to a clip of Springsteen tripping at one of his shows and falling on the stage. A golf ball is added to the video seen hitting him on the head making it look like he fell because he got hit with it.

The post comes after the “Born in the U.S.A.” singer ripped the president during the opening show of his European tour on May 14 in Manchester, England. The overseas tour ends on July 3 in Milan. There have been no dates scheduled in the U.S. this year.

“The America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” Springsteen said. He later added, “A majority of our elected representatives have failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government.”

He went on to say a lot more including that Trump is rolling back civil rights in the United States.

Trump shot back with a message on his Truth Social account saying Springsteen should “KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT,” adding that the singer was “overrated” and a “jerk.”

“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country.”

Springsteen released a six-song live EP on Tuesday from last week’s Manchester concert that began the feud with Trump. The “Land of Hopes and Dreams” EP contains music from the show and Springsteen’s political messages.
