Maryland’s birthday, Maryland Day, is observed on the anniversary of the March 25, 1634, landing of the first European settlers in Maryland. It was the third English colony to be settled in British North America. The Pride of Baltimore II tall ship made City Dock in Annapolis port for the weekend through Tuesday in celebration of Maryland Day.
