After winningher second straight gold medal in judo, Kayla Harrison was asked about turning her attention to a pro career in mixed martial arts.

“I'm just going to focus on being a two-time Olympic champion and decide about punching people in the face at a later date,” said Harrison, a friend of MMA star Ronda Rousey.

Harrison, an Ohio native who won the 78-kilogram event, said she'd gotten multiple offers asking her to fight in MMA competitions but had turned them all down. Her coach, Jimmy Pedro, said she was “too nice of a person” for mixed martial arts.

Harrison became the first American to defend an Olympic judo title when she forced Audrey Tcheumeo of France to tap out.

“This is my legacy,” Harrison said. “I retire as a two-time Olympic champ, one of the greatest the sport has ever seen.”

Unhappy camper: International Olympic Committee Vice President John Coates said the Rio Olympics have been “the most difficult Games we have ever encountered.”

Rio has been plagued by problems, including empty seats, water pollution and crime around the edges.

Despite his complaints, Coates said he had “no regrets” about awarding the Games to Rio. But he called it a “greater challenge” than the IOC expected.

Naughty, naughty: The IOC said four cities bidding for the 2024 Olympics had been warned not to invite media to their hospitality houses in Rio. Los Angeles, Paris, Rome and Budapest, Hungary, were warned.

The host-city vote will be in September 2017.
