Snack giant Frito-Lay issued a recall for certain bags of Lay’s potato chips.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration published a recall issued by Frito-Lay on Dec. 18 regarding certain bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips.

The recall was issued after the company was notified that certain 13-ounce bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips could contain undeclared milk.

The FDA noted that those with milk allergies or sensitivities “run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product.”

The specific recalled product is 13-ounce bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips with the UPC 2840031041, “Guaranteed Fresh” date of Feb. 11, 2025, and either manufacturing code 6462307xx or 6463307xx.

The FDA said that those who purchased the recalled product can call Frito-Lay customer service at 1-800-352-4477.
