Paulie Gee’s Hampden, a Brooklyn, New York pizzeria franchise, is closing its doors on Thursday after eight years.

Robert Hanlon and Jack Armstrong first reported the news on their Instagram page, Bob’s Pizza Tour. The Hampden restaurant, owned by Kelly Beckham, opened its doors at 3535 Chestnut Ave. in 2016.

A representative from Paulie Gee’s could not be immediately reached for comment.

The original Paulie Gee’s in Brooklyn was opened by Paul Giannone in 2010.

The pizzeria serves Neapolitan-style wood-fired pies with flavorful options like the Brisket Pizza (barbeque sauce, mozzarella and brisket with pickled red onion and honey-bourdon reduction), the Popeye and Olive Oil (mozzarella, garlic and spinach) and the Hot Child in the City (rosemary pecorino, parmesan, sliced red onion, fennel sausage and hot chili oil). Prices vary from $14 to $28 depending on size.
