Denzel Valentine had 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to lead No. 2 Michigan State past No. 13 Purdue, 66-62, in the Big Ten tournament championship game Sunday in Indianapolis.

Valentine was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after flirting with triple doubles on three consecutive days. The Spartans (29-5) have won 13 of 14 and took their fifth tournament title.

The Boilermakers (26-8) were led by Vince Edwards with 19 points. A.J. Hammons and Caleb Swanigan each had 11.

SEC: Derek Willis' 3-pointer with 1:01 left in overtime put Kentucky ahead to stay, and the 16th-ranked Wildcats beat No. 17 Texas A&M, 82-77, in Nashville, Tenn., for their second straight tournament title.

Tyler Ulis scored a career-high 30 points for the Wildcats (26-8). Danuel House's career-best 32 points led the Aggies (26-8).

AAC: Shonn Miller and Sterling Gibbs scored 13 points each and Daniel Hamilton had a double double for the third straight day, leading Connecticut to a 72-58 victory over Memphis in the American Athletic Conference championship game in Orlando, Fla.

Hamilton had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskies (24-10).

American Rookie of the Year Dedric Lawson led the Tigers (19-15) with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Atlantic 10: DeAndre' Bembry scored 30 points and Isaiah Miles (Glenelg Country, Milford Mill) had 26 points and 12 rebounds as Saint Joseph's (27-7) beat VCU, 87-74, to win the tournament title in New York.

JeQuan Lewis and Korey Billbury each scored 19 points for the Rams (24-10), who lost in the title game for the third time in four seasons.

Sun Belt: Tournament MVP Roger Woods scored 19 points, and Arkansas-Little Rock (29-4) beat Louisiana-Monroe, 70-50, in the tournament final in New Orleans.

Justin Roberson had 17 points for the Warhawks (20-13), whose 10-game winning streak ended.
