Marley Station mall in Glen Burnie has been sold to a Texas-based investor for $22.7 million. G.L. Harris of Fort Worth bought the more than 800,000-square-foot-mall, built in 1987, from LNR Partners LLC of Miami Beach in a deal that closed Dec. 20, CoStar Realty Information Inc. reported. The mall on Ritchie Highway, with a just over 2 percent vacancy rate, is anchored by Macy’s, Sears and JCPenney and has 57 additional stores. It was last renovated in 1996. Harris, who has a history of buying older shopping centers, could not be reached Tuesday. He owns three other malls in Texas and Illinois, according to CoStar.
