The William Fell, previously known as the Admiral Fell Inn, has started taking reservations under its new name as the historic Fells Point hotel launches its new affiliation with Hilton’s Tapestry collection and new restaurant The William Fell Tavern.
“We are pleased to unveil this exceptional new space, ushering in a new era of history, culture and community, all while providing guests — from near and far — the opportunity to explore the city’s renowned restaurants, local gems and scenic waterfront,” said Justin Jabara, president of Meyer Jabara Hotels, which owns and operates The William Fell.
The William Fell’s association with Hilton’s Tapestry Collection means guests can use and earn Hilton Honors points with their stay.
The William Fell Tavern replaces Duck Duck Goose, which closed last year, and offers “traditional American fare with Baltimore delicacies” like crab cakes and orange crushes, according to a news release. The Anchor Tavern remains open, according to a spokesperson for the hotel.
The 80-room hotel announced its renovations in January, and initially anticipated the hotel’s relaunch would be in April. Renovations to the hotel included “fully overhauled guest rooms, a new lobby and common area with a coffee bar, a fitness center and a 2,400 [square foot] banquet/meeting space,” the release said.
