Jared Cirulli
Behind his breakthrough junior season, the Lions reached the Class 2A-1A state semifinals and are looking for even bigger things this season. Cirulli finished with a Carroll County-high 105 points (68 goals and 37 assists) last season after totaling 46 as a sophomore. He brings incredible field sense, a wicked shot and unselfish play with the sense to pass when defenses are hounding him.
Bryan Costabile
The area's most dynamic midfielder is a threat every time he gets the ball, combining high-level skills with a grinding style and pinpoint shot from the outside. The All-Metro second-team pick finished with 54 goals and 11 assists last season. A Notre Dame commit, he made the U.S. under-19 men's national team that will compete in the World Championships this summer.
Casey DuBois
Defense will carry the day for the Vikings and it starts with DuBois. The Army commit is fundamentally sound, tremendously quick and makes smart decisions with the ball. The three-year starter was a US Lacrosse All-American who posted a 4.2 goals-against average last season.
Mitch Gordon
A three-year starter and four-year varsity player, Gordon is the focal point of the Crusaders attack and plays with poise and a fine understanding of the team's offense. Good things happen when the ball is in his stick, evidenced by his 22-goal, 25-assist junior season. The Virginia commit controls the tempo, wisely taking what defenses give with the ability to score or pass.
Arman Medghalchi
The All-Metro first-team selection is the leader of what many believe is the finest defensive unit in the country. In his fourth varsity season, Medghalchi brings athleticism, smart positioning and technical skills as the area's most reliable shutdown defenseman. The Princeton commit played a major role in helping the Eagles limit opponents to under eight goals per game last season.
Garrett Michel
The main cog in the Lions' run to the Class 4A-3A state semifinals last season, Michel is creative, determined and rugged with the ball in his stick, and the end results are often goals. A four-year varsity player who is still undecided on his college choice, he broke through with a 44-goal, 11-assist junior season after finishing with 16 goals and eight assists in his first season starting as a sophomore.
Jack Pezzulla
The three-year standout would like nothing more than to replicate his sophomore season when he was a major factor in the Lakers winning the MIAA A championship and finishing No. 1 in the country. He's lightning-quick, and his presence is felt in his vocal leadership as much as his ability to make big saves. He made the U.S. under-19 men's national team that will compete in the World Championships this summer.
Cole Williams
A four-year varsity player headed for Johns Hopkins, Williams (21 goals, 24 assists last season) is ready to take on the lead role as the Dons' catalyst on attack. He has all the tools to dominate: he's big (6 feet 4) and strong with fine athleticism, vision and a wicked shot. What has impressed new coach Ben Rubeor the most in the early going is Williams' tireless effort and ability to make teammates better.
Logan Wisnauskas
With high-level stick skills, fierce competitiveness and quality game sense, the Syracuse-bound Wisnauskas will be relied upon heavily to quarterback the attack in his third varsity season for the Lakers. Coming off a 42-goal, 36-assist junior season, he'll be heavily marked by the opposing defense. His ability to find space and make smart decisions are keys to his ability to score and distribute to teammates.
Dylan Wolf
A settling influence with a balanced approach, Wolf is the catalyst with fundamentally strong two-way play in the middle for the Cougars. In his third year on varsity, he finished with 28 goals and 27 assists last season and has 104 points and 52 ground balls for his career. Wolf's consistently fine play, smart decisions and leadership skills make his teammates better.
