The Galleries at Quiet Waters, 600 Quiet Waters Park Drive in Annapolis, continues its current exhibits through April 1. At the Willow Gallery is “Beyond the Line, Colored Pencil Released,” is a juried show of the Metro-Washington Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America. The exhibit is juried by artist Patrice Drago. And at the Garden Gallery, three members of the Colored Pencil Society — Deborah Maklowski, Martha Crawley and Lis Zadravec — display a group exhibit entitled “Beyond and Released.”

West Annapolis Artworks, 4 Annapolis St., welcomes a start to spring with bright newartists in “Creativity Blooms in West Annapolis.” The exhibit will run through April 5.

Mitchell Gallery, on the St. John’s College campus at 60 College Ave. in Annapolis, is hosting its spring exhibition, “Robert Indiana: Love and Hope,” through April 22. Information: 410-626-2556.

Benfield Gallery, 485 Jumpers Hole Road in Severna Park, is presenting “Spring Inspirations” through April 23. The show includes a variety of styles and media, and artists include Kathy Daywalt, Judy Fox, Sarah Wardell, Lyn Laviana, Janice Antinucci, Bill Jaeger, Andrée Tullier and Joni Guhne among others.

McBride Gallery, 215 Main St. in Annapolis, hosts “Texture and Light,” its first solo show for Lisa Mitchell, a Maryland landscape painter, and member of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters.

She is past president and member of the Maryland Pastel Society, a member of the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters, and a member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association.

Gallery 333, 333 Dubois Road in Annapolis, presents an installation by nature photographer Rick Dove entitled “Awe and Wonder”on view through April 29. Dove’s photographs have been published in local and regional publications as well as displayed at area art shows and galleries.

Main St. Gallery, 216 Main St. in Annapolis is featuring local award-winning artists this month, as well as its collection of Kevin Fitzgerald paintings.

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St. in Annapolis, is displaying its first all-video art exhibition continuing through May 5.

Lowe House Gallery, on the first-floor hallways of the Lowe House Building, 6 Bladen St. in Annapolis, is featuring an exhibit with works selected by juror Teddy Johnson, Cade Gallery director at Anne Arundel Community College, through April 9. The show features artwork from local Anne Arundel County artists and MFA artist members with an array of original 2-D and 3-D work.

Paul’s Homewood Cafe,919 West St. in Annapolis, continues its exhibit featuring Anne Sieling’s work displaying her talent as a landscape and portrait artist, accompanying works by abstract artist Marilyn Ugiansky. The exhibit will remain up through April 30.
