A Baltimore jury on Wednesday convicted a 19-year-old of a range of crimes in connection with a pair of 2023 shootings that left two people dead and six others wounded.

Jabre Griffith is now guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, six counts of attempted first-degree murder and related firearms offenses.

The jury, which deliberated for about a day, acquitted Griffith of several counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

Griffith faces the possibility of life in prison at sentencing Feb. 18 in front of Circuit Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.

His trial in Baltimore Circuit Court began Nov. 4 and lasted a week. Prosecutors put on 23 witnesses.

The convictions stem from a pair of shootings on March 23, 2023, separated by about 24 hours and seven miles.

Griffith was accused of being one of three gunmen who fired 50 shots at a gas station in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue just after midnight that day. Ernest Hall, 33, died. A 15-year-old boy and four other men, ages ranging from 18 to 24, were injured.

The second shooting involved two gunmen and happened around 11:15 p.m. outside of the Pizza Boli’s in the 5400 block of York Road in Homeland. Micah Strong, 26, died in that shooting, which also left a 25-year-old woman wounded.
