The Meeting House Gallery, Oakland Mills Interfaith Center, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia. themeetinghouse.org. The gallery hosts its fourth annual Congregational Exhibit through April 7. Works in various media, including ceramics, oil, mosaic tile, photography, watercolor and wood carvings, are on display from artists Jim Auerbach, Peter Barbernitz, Stuart Berlin, Dan Brown, Dan Cohen, Susan Cohen, Ira Dwoskin, Michele Krupka, Jim Lubitz, Sue Nicholson, Carol Jo Roeder, Ronee Rothman, Steve Rothman and Roz Zinner.

Artists’ Gallery, 8197 Main St., Ellicott City, 443-325-5936 or artistsgalleryec.com. “Essential Elements: Clay and Water” runs through March 25 and features the works of Winnie Coggins, a clay artist, and Karen Norman, a watercolor artist. A reception will be held 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

The Columbia Art Center, 6100 Foreland Garth, Columbia, 410-730-0075 or columbiaartcenter.org. The center is hosting three exhibits: “Into the Darkroom: Reservoir High School Advanced Photo Showcase” through March 25; “Tranquility” running through April 1 and showcasing works by Fariba Gheisour, an Iranian-American artist; and “Simultaneous Realities” running through April 1 and showcasing the work of Joanna Barnum, a watercolor artist. Receptions for “Tranquility” and “Simultaneous Realities” will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Howard County Center for the Arts, 8510 High Ridge Road, Ellicott City. 410-313-2787 or hocoarts.org. The center is hosting two exhibits. “No Boundaries” presented in partnership with Howard County Recreation and Parks’ Department of Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Services, focuses on work by youth and adult artists with developmental disabilities created in the Exploring Art and Focus on Art programs offered by Recreation and Parks. It runs through April 20. “Drawing to Understand: Youth Art Month Exhibit” also runs through April 20, presented through a partnership with Howard County Public School System and the Arts Council. The exhibit features works by public school students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Receptions for both will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 15.

HorseSpirit Arts Gallery, 8090 Main St., Ellicott City, 410-461-3505 or horsespiritartsgallery.com. The gallery is showing “Rust and Shine” through March 25. The exhibit features the works of Peter Kosterich, a jewelry maker, and Eric Hagemann, a photographer.
