PERRYVILLE — Baltimore native and celebrity cake artist Duff Goldman unveiled a towering gingerbread lodge at Great Wolf Lodge Maryland on Wednesday morning as a new part of the resort’s annual Snowland celebration.
The unveiling is part of a friendly competition with pastry chef Ashley Holt, who debuted a similar display at Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains. The chef with the most shares will earn a $15,000 donation for their designated charity, with a $10,000 donation going to the runner-up. Social shares in support of Chef Duff’s display will benefit Believe In Tomorrow’s Children’s House at Johns Hopkins with Icing Smiles being the benefactor for Chef Ashley’s display.
Guests can support their favorite chef’s creation by posting photos of the displays on social media, tagging Great Wolf Lodge, and using #TeamGWLMaryland or #TeamGWLPoconos.
Snowland at Great Wolf Lodge runs through January 6 and features holiday crafts, Santa visits, daily snow showers, and more.
