WHITE SOX: LHP Chris Sale accused team executive vice president Ken Williams of lying about the reasons Adam LaRoche'sson needed to spend less time in the clubhouse. LaRoche, who retired Friday, said he and the Sox “reached an agreement” before he signed allowing son Drake frequent access. Sale said the players were told three different stories. “We got bald-faced lied to by someone we're supposed to be able to trust,” Sale said of Williams. “He came to the players and said it was the coaches. He went to the coaches and said it was the players. Then he came in here and said it was the owner.” White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf declined to comment.
