Four teens have been arrested and are charged with robbery and auto theft after a woman was carjacked in South Baltimore, police say.

Baltimore Police responded to the 3200 block of Washington Boulevard around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a carjacking.

Upon arrival, authorities say they learned that a 76-year-old woman had been approached by four male teen suspects who forcibly removed her from her car before fleeing the scene in her vehicle.

FOX45 News obtained exclusive surveillance video of the carjacking that shows what appears to be a Hyundai pull up next to the victim, before the suspects jump out on her.

Authorities found the stolen vehicle around 2:50 a.m. the following day at Interstate 95 near the Canton Avenue exit.

Police say they arrested four teens at that location, three 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old boy.

Three were taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.

One of the 15-year-old suspects was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and is now facing carjacking charges as an adult.

According to Baltimore Police, one of the 15-year-olds has previously been arrested for and charged with carjacking.

A source close to the investigation tells FOX45 that police may have been tracking the juveniles for some time now. The source says the “crew” could be responsible for at least 30 carjackings and robberies in the last week alone.
