JD Vance replied to a social media post by President Joe Biden and asked him to declare Pete Rose into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Biden posted on Friday, “Today I’m affirming what I have long believed and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: The 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex.”

Soon-to-be Vice President Vance replied on Saturday to the post, “Hey Joe if we’re doing fake s**t on the way out can you declare Pete Rose into the Hall of Fame? See you in two days!”

President Donald Trump was sworn in for a second time as president Monday, becoming the second chief executive to occupy the White House in non-consecutive terms. Vance, former senator from Ohio, was sworn in as vice president.

Trump had campaigned for Rose to be allowed into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown after the “Hit King” died on Sept. 30 last year.

Rose is not in the Baseball Hall of Fame because Major League Baseball gave him a permanent ban for gambling on baseball games.
