Logan Posner scored the game-winner with 24 seconds left in overtime as No. 5 St.?Paul’s beat visiting Haverford (Pa.), 8-7, Thursday in boys lacrosse.

The Crusaders (5-0) scored the final three goals.

Keegan Pearl cut St. Paul’s deficit to 7-6 with 2:50 left in regulation, and Matt Mayer tied the score with 1:30 to go.

The Fords are 0-2 this season, having lost, 17-9, on Tuesday to No. 1 McDonogh, another Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference team.

St. Paul’s will host Glenelg Country on Tuesday and nationally ranked Culver Academy (Ind.) next Friday.

The Fords will face No. 2 Boys’ Latin on April 4.

No. 13 St. Mary’s 15, Annapolis 3: In the first meeting between the Saints (4-1) and host Panthers (0-2) in 15 years, St.?Mary’s scored the final 11 goals and cruised to victory.

Broadneck transfer Taylor Bohanan had three goals and four assists, and Kevin Byrne added three goals and two assists for the Saints, who never trailed but led by just one goal late in the first half.

No. 5 Notre Dame Prep 18, John Carroll 11: The visiting Blazers (3-0, 2-0 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) opened the second half with a 5-0 run and beat the Patriots (0-2, 0-2).

Grace Haus and Hannah Mardiney each had a hat trick for NDP.

No. 8 Severn 14, Charlotte Catholic (N.C.) 4: Caroline Mason scored a game-high four goals to lead the visiting Admirals (2-2) past the Cougars (7-2).

Severn led 6-1 at halftime.

No. 9 St. Mary’s 13, Maryvale 9: Whitney Albert had a game-high six goals to lead the Saints (2-1, 2-1 IAAM A?Conference) past the host Lions (0-2, 0-2).

No. 13 Westminster 13, South Carroll 4: The visiting Owls (1-0) used heavy pressure against the Cavaliers (1-1) and pulled away.

Senior midfielder Caroline Frock scored five goals and added three assists. Sophomore goalie Sara Tyssowski made eight saves in her varsity debut for Westminster.

No. 9 Catonsville 11, Franklin 1: Senior Ross Kidd and junior Carl Baker combined to hold the Indians (1-1) to three hits and the Comets (1-1) took advantage of nine walks and four errors in a five-inning victory.

Sophomore Cody Brick was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and senior Jake Getzendanner scored three runs and had a run-scoring double to lead the Catonsville attack.

C. Milton Wright 7, Harford Tech 0: Right-hander Allen Hokanson (1-0) gave up five hits, walked two and struck out six for the win.

Cam Outten worked three innings of relief and struck out nine for the Mustangs (2-0). The host Cobras fell to 0-1.

Towson 4, Hereford 3, 8 innings: Jack Bane had an RBI double to drive in the winning run for the host Generals (2-0). The Bulls fell to 0-2.

North Harford 5, Perry Hall Christian 4: Paul Keeney worked four innings, gave up one run and five hits, and got the win. Derek McManus had a single, a triple and two RBIs for the host Hawks (2-0).

Softball

Bel Air 4, No. 10 Liberty 2: The host Bobcats (2-0) scored three runs in the first inning and upset the Lions (0-1).
