The victory marked the seventh straight for the Eagles (16-1, 7-1 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference).

The Gators fell to 9-9 and 4-5.

Aleah Nelson scored a team-high 14 points for McDonogh, but Seton Keough coach Stephanie Gilmore credited the Eagles' teamwork during the second-quarter run.

No. 8 Manchester Valley 65, Westminster 54: Mackenzie DeWees scored 30 points to lead the Mavericks (15-0) past the host Owls (10-4).

St. John's-Catholic Prep 72, No. 15 Mount de Sales 44: The B Conference leader Vikings (16-3, 9-0 IAAM) handed the host Sailors (14-4, 7-2) their first loss in the past 10 games.

Mercy 46, St. Mary's 43: Mercy's Ria Roberts scored with 38 seconds left to put the visiting Magic (3-10) back up for good, while the Saints (6-11) went 0-for-4 from the line in the final 1:20.

Boys basketball

No. 8 Mount Carmel 62, No. 11 John Carroll 49: The visiting Cougars (16-6, 7-4 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) won their fifth straight, beating the Patriots (14-9, 6-4).

Annapolis Area Christian 66, Gerstell Academy 53: The Eagles (12-7, 5-2 MIAA B Conference) built a 28-18 first-half advantage and rolled past the host Falcons (9-10, 2-3).

Lansdowne 73, Kenwood 44: Senior DaQuan Williams scored a game-high 27 points to lead the host Vikings (7-6) over the Bluebirds (6-10).

Williams, who went over the 1,000-point scoring mark Friday in a loss to Western Tech, has 1,028 career points.

Winters Mill, 66, Liberty 6: The Falcons (13-5, 4-1 Carroll) won their sixth straight dual meet, beating the visiting Eagles.

Winters Mill has also beaten Westminster, Francis Scott Key, Manchester Valley, Gerstell Academy and Silver Oak Academy.

Tuesday's indoor track

Baltimore County championship: Dulaney's boys produced 123 points, easily surpassing second-place Hereford and New Town (tied with 36), while winning their third county title in the past four years at the 5th Regiment Armory on Tuesday night.

“Our guys are just super well-rounded,” Dulaney coach Chad Boyle said.

Nico Yarbough won the high jump (6?feet) and 55 hurdles (8.31 seconds) and James Green won the 500 (1 minute, 9.87?seconds).

“Those guys are good track athletes,” Boyle said.

The 1,600 relay team of Contrell Goode, Alex Ozbolt and Yarbough won in 3:41.57, and the 3,200 relay team of Ozbolt, Nick Owens, Brendan O'Brien and Matt Owens won in 9:08.20.

Eastern Tech's Taylor Baranoski was the individual standout, winning the 800 (2:05.91), 1,600 (4:39.80) and the 3,200 (10:22.58). It was the third straight year that has been done at the county championship meet.

Eric Walz of Dulaney did it last year, and Milford Mill's Jordan Leon did it in 2015.
