A man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries Wednesday night after a mobile home in Rosedale caught fire, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The department said in a news release that investigators believe the blaze was caused by an electrical malfunction.

Crews responded at about 8:20 p.m. to the 1300 block of Evering Avenue, located off Philadelphia Road, and found the dwelling on fire, the department said.

They found the man in a bedroom during search efforts. A dog was also rescued.
