Longhorns' surge beats Sooners
Isaiah Taylor scored 18 points and No. 25 Texas used a 25-5 run in the second half to defeat No. 3 Oklahoma 76-63 Saturday in Austin, Texas.
The Longhorns (19-10, 10-6 Big 12) trailed 58-51 when Taylor's three-point play kicked off the decisive stretch. Connor Lammert and Javan Felix each added 14 points for Texas.
Buddy Hield had 33 points for the Sooners (22-6, 10-6). His 3-pointer in the final minute ended an Oklahoma scoring drought of nearly 7 minutes.
Taylor also had five steals, while Jakob Poeltl added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Utah (23-7, 12-5), which pulled into a tie with Oregon.
Allonzo Trier scored 23 points for Arizona (22-7, 10-6), which didn't have a point in the final 2:51.
Dakota Mathias added a career-best 17 points for the Boilermakers (22-7, 10-6 Big Ten). Rapheal Davis and Vince Edwards each scored 11 and Caleb Swanigan had 10.
Melo Trimble had 19 points and Diamond Stone 18 for Maryland (23-6, 11-5).
Angel Rodriguez had 17 points and seven assists to lead Miami (23-5, 12-4 ACC), which rallied with 12 unanswered points as Louisville (22-7, 11-5) missed nine straight shots.
