



Dylan Williamson and Tyler Tejada scored 20 points each as Towson men’s basketball beat William & Mary, 88-73, on Thursday night to clinch the outright regular-season title in the Coastal Athletic Association for the first time in program history.
Williamson added six assists for the Tigers (20-10, 15-2), who set a TU Arena record with an announced crowd of 4,750. Tejada shot 7 of 14 from the field and 4-for-9 from 3-point range. Tomiwa Sulaiman shot 4-for-6 overall and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line to finish with 15 points. Mekhi Lowery grabbed a team-high eight rebounds while adding nine points and Christian May finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Gabe Dorsey led the Tribe (17-13, 11-6) in scoring, finishing with 19 points. Matteus Case added 11 points and Finn Lally had nine. Towson went into halftime trailing 44-32. William & Mary pushed its advantage to 13 to open the second half, but Towson went on a 14-6 run sparked by Sulaiman’s eight points to trail by two. The Tigers then scored 21 consecutive points to lead 74-55. Williamson scored 17 points in the second half.
Both teams complete regular-season play Saturday. Towson hosts Hampton and William & Mary hosts Northeastern.
