In her new music video, Katy Perry pretends to be one of the thousands of tourists having the time of their lives on Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. But some parts, filmed in a protected natural enclave, could bring trouble.

The regional government is investigating the video for her latest song, “Lifetimes,” for the clips in which the singer/songwriter, 39, appears jumping and running across dunes of the Ses Salines Natural Park, a protected area on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, apparently without permission.

The regional authorities have opened “preliminary investigation proceedings,” according to a statement released Tuesday, after the production company failed to apply for the appropriate permits.

Her label, Universal Music, said the local video production company had assured it that all necessary permits for the video were secured. When it learned that one permit was still being processed, “we were given verbal authority to go ahead” a day before the shoot on July 27, a label spokesperson said.

Perry’s new album “143” will be released Sept. 20.

One fish, two fish, baby fish: The latest Dr. Seuss releases are designed for the youngest audience.

On Thursday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Random House Children’s Books announced the launch of Dr. Seuss Babies, which includes interactive board books, a video series called “Learn to Read” and a line of diapers, onesies and feeding solutions.

“Learn to Read” was set to debut Friday on the Dr. Seuss YouTube channel.

“Babies and toddlers love to discover the world around them. Dr. Seuss Babies will help them explore, learn and laugh. Our hope is that this brand inspires and delights a new generation,” said Susan Brandt, president and CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises.

The first board book, “Happy First Birthday!,” will be published Jan. 7. Other board books scheduled for next year include “Mr. Brown On the Farm” and “Happy Grinchmas, Baby!”

Three more books are expected in 2026.

Jenner reveals why she changed son’s name: Kylie Jenner has opened up again about battling postpartum depression, which she says played a major role in changing her son’s name twice before ultimately settling on Aire.

In the September issue of British Vogue, the makeup mogul, 27, reveals that she actually changed her son’s name twice — and “felt like such a failure” for taking a year to make the choice.

“My son’s name was actually Knight for a long time,” she said of now-2-year-old Aire, who was originally named Wolf.

Jenner said the “major baby blues” she suffered attributed to her inability to make a decision.

“Now my advice to all my friends having children is pick the name before,” she concluded. “Because when the hormones hit you can’t make decisions. You can’t.”
