SARASOTA, Fla. — Jimmy’s Famous Seafood won’t be on the Orioles’ opening day roster.

The popular Dundalk seafood restaurant will not return to Camden Yards in 2025, according to an Orioles spokesperson. Jimmy’s Seafood first opened between sections 68 and 72 at Camden Yards in 2022, but its contract was not renewed for the upcoming season.

“We are constantly evaluating our business operation and as their contract term was coming to an end, we made the decision to go in a different direction,” the spokesperson said.

It’s unclear what will be replacing Jimmy’s at Oriole Park. The ballclub has not yet announced its new offerings at the yard this season.

John Minadakis, co-owner of Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

When Jimmy’s announced its location at Camden Yards, co-owner Antonios Minadakis said in a news release that it was something he’s “always dreamed of.”

“I grew up as an Orioles fan and watched the games as a little boy from inside of the restaurant,” he said in 2022. “It’s an emotional day that I’ve always dreamed of – ensuring our father’s legacy will always be remembered. I know he is smiling down.”

Plenty of changes are coming to Camden Yards after David Rubenstein’s first offseason as Orioles owner.

The SuperBook Bar and Restaurant in the B&O Warehouse at Camden Yards is not returning in 2025, an Orioles spokesperson said earlier this month. The club intends to announce its future plans for the space before the Orioles’ home opener March 31. SuperBook Sports, a national gambling outlet, stopped accepting wagers in Maryland last summer, though the lounge remained open through the end of the 2024 campaign. Last year was just its second after replacing Dempsey’s Brew Pub, named after 1983 World Series MVP Rick Dempsey.

The club also announced this offseason it will roll out the Birdland Value Menu in 2025 with cheaper prices for beer, hot dogs, popcorn and other popular concession items at 10 locations in the ballpark. Beer will cost $5 at the value menu locations, and hot dogs will be $4. The menu is similar to one Catie Griggs, the Orioles’ president of business operations, implemented at T-Mobile Park when she worked for the Seattle Mariners.

The Orioles are also changing their left field dimensions again to find a “happy medium” after the club drastically pushed the wall back ahead of the 2022 season. The alterations will bring the left field wall in between 9 and 20 feet and reduce its height between 5 and 6 feet after general manager Mike Elias said the ballclub “overcorrected” in 2022.

The sound system will be improved this season, too, before a new one is put in place in 2026. A new videoboard will also be installed ahead of the 2026 season.
