Howard County Police are partnering with the U.S. Marshals Service to find a 17-year-old wanted for his alleged role in a fatal shooting at The Mall in Columbia in July.

The suspect, whose whereabouts are unknown, is charged with first-degree murder in Howard County. He allegedly targeted the victim, 17-year-old Angelo Little, who was pronounced dead at the scene July 27, police said in a news release.

Howard County Police have identified the suspect as William Thomas Marshall III, aka “Junior”, of Columbia. State law typically prohibits the release of a juvenile suspect’s identity, but an exception exists for “facilitating apprehension of a child and ensuring public safety when a criminal arrest warrant is issued,” the department said in the release.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to his arrest in addition to a $10,000 reward from the Howard County Police Department. Anyone with information is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED2 or submit tips via the USMS tips app.
