Childless without cats
I am a childless woman (not by choice), and while I do not have cats, I am astonished at JD Vance’s comments. I just listened to his statement again about people who are not invested in the future because they do not have biological children. How absurd.
What about all the childless women who teach children in school? Are they not invested in their students’ futures? How about all the childless women who work in the medical field? Are they not helping their patients have futures? How about all the women who work in technology and other areas of science? Are they not invested in the future?
If Mr. Vance ever ends up in the emergency room, I wonder how he will feel if he gets a “childless cat woman” as his doctor.
And childless people should not have their votes count as much as people with children? I do not think he is smart enough to be a vice president or hold any office.

Vance taken out of context
One of the problems with forming an opinion on another person’s beliefs is forming the opinion based on statements taken out of context and not having all the facts about their beliefs.
I happen to be a Trump voter and think he could have done better than JD Vance for a running mate. Not because of his ideas but because he is controversial. I thought he would not be treated fairly by today’s media, and I was right. I am old enough (77) to remember when the media reported all the facts of a story and then you could form your own opinion. Sorry to say those days are long gone. Because of the media’s hatred of Trump, you have to work to get the truth about his campaign.
Senators Ted Cruz and Katie Britt have introduced a Republican IVF bill that will prevent all states and local governments from banning IVF. Vance happens to be a cosponsor. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will never let it pass but will claim Republicans are anti IVF. If you are truly interested in all the facts about Vance, listen to his interview with Megan Kelly on Sirius XM radio.

Sound bites, not policy
I can only hope JD Vance continues to make nonsensical sound bites and not policy. My husband and I didn’t actively choose to be childless; it just never happened. Am I less of a patriot or do I have a diminished stake in America? Absolutely not. And who would ask the question if someone was fit to lead because they were childless? Would they ask it of a male candidate? Outrageous! I hope the voters of this country wake up and really listen to these recent dystopian comments coming from those who wish to control those of us they disagree with.

A war against women?
I am absolutely horrified. JD Vance now says he’s got nothing against cats. Yeah, it’s women he’s against.
I’ve been saying for some time that the GOP is waging a war against women. It’s time to finally take the power back from the minority and give it to the majority, and Vance is going to help in this endeavor.
We won’t go back, and we’re sick of not moving forward. I am woman; hear me roar.

Vance dragging down Trump
I’m a retired registered nurse who never had the opportunity to have children. I find JD Vance’s views to be an abomination and disgusting. His views will bring Donald Trump’s popularity down, and I’m happy about that.

Vance is a hero, not a weirdo
Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, recently labeled JD Vance a weirdo. Nonsense, especially from a guy who acts rather suspiciously himself and who kissed Jill Biden on the lips at the State of the Union.
Vance is a United States Marine veteran. This speaks more for the man who served in the armed forces than some clown who didn’t and whose only 15 minutes of fame is that he’s Harris’ husband.
Vance went to college on the G.I. Bill. Nothing was handed to him on a silver platter. He achieved academic excellence at both Ohio State and Yale Law to then become a highly successful businessman and thereafter a U.S. senator. This guy has done it all!
These Democrats, when they have nothing to speak to or address policy-wise, always spew mouthy, vicious, slanderous attacks on their Republican opponents. These leftists will never change!
