The Penn State men's lacrosse team ended a 20-game Denver winning streak, upsetting the top-ranked Pioneers (7-1), 15-10, to capture the Patriot Cup at Southern Methodist's Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions (6-3) used a 6-3 run in the second quarter to take an 8-6 lead. Penn State added a 4-1 spurt in the third.

Dan Craig and Ryan Keenan each had three goals for the Nittany Lions. Maryland transfer Connor Cannizzaro had three goals for Denver.

No. 11 Duke 16, No. 5 Syracuse 15, OT: Chad Cohan scored 53 seconds into the first overtime period to lift the host Blue Devils (7-4, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) over the Orange (5-2, 1-1).

Deemer Class (Loyola Blakefield) had seven goals and two assists for Duke.

No. 2 Notre Dame 9, Ohio State 8: Mikey Wynne (St. Paul's) had three goals, and a 4-0 run by the Fighting Irish (6-1) in the third quarter helped lift them over the host Buckeyes (5-5).

No. 3 Yale 11, Princeton 10: Ben Reeves had three goals and the host Bulldogs (7-0, 2-0 Ivy League) hung on to beat the Tigers (2-6, 0-2).

No. 8 Villanova 15, Fairfield 9: Devin McNamara (Loyola Blakefield) scored four goals to power the host Wildcats (6-1) past the Stags (4-6).

No. 10 Albany 13, Hartford 9: Connor Fields matched a career-high seven goals to lead the Great Danes (5-2, 2-0 America East) past the host Hawks (4-4, 1-1).

No. 15 Harvard 18, Dartmouth 8: Devin Dwyer had three goals and four assists to lead the host Crimson (5-5, 1-1 Ivy) past the Big Green (1-6, 0-1).

No. 16 Army West Point 11, Colgate 7: Cole Johnson had three goals and four assists to lead the host Black Knights (7-2, 4-0 Patriot League) past the Raiders (3-6, 1-3).

Hofstra 15, St. John's 8: Sam Llinares had five goals to lift the Pride (6-3) over the host Red Storm (1-8).

No. 6 Syracuse 12, No. 4 Notre Dame 11: Allie Murray made a save in the final seconds to secure the victory for the Orange (8-3, 2-1 ACC) over the host Fighting Irish (9-2, 3-2).

No. 3 North Carolina 13, No. 10 Boston College 12: The visiting Tar Heels (8-2, 2-0 ACC) built an 8-1 lead in the first half and withstood a rally to defeat the Eagles (6-4, 1-3).

No. 13 Duke 11, No. 16 Virginia 8: Kyra Harney had four goals and an assist to lead the host Blue Devils (8-4, 3-0 ACC) over the Cavaliers (5-6, 0-4) for their fourth straight win.

No. 11 Princeton 6, Harvard 5: An illegal stick negated Julia Glynn's game-tying goal for the Crimson (5-3, 1-1 Ivy) to seal the victory for the visiting Tigers (5-2, 2-0).

Ellie DeGarmo (Bryn Mawr) made 14 saves for Princeton, including one with 2.1 seconds left in regulation.

No. 2 Florida 16, Vanderbilt 2: Eight players scored for the host Gators (10-1) in a victory over the Commodores (4-6), who were held to a season low in goals.

No. 5 Louisville 15, Virginia Tech 10: Hannah Koloski scored four goals to lead the host Cardinals (11-1, 3-1 ACC) over the Hokies (5-8, 0-3).

No. 12 Stony Brook 17, No. 8 Stanford 7: Courtney Murphy had a season-high six goals and the host Seawolves (6-3) recorded their largest margin of victory over a ranked opponent in program history with a win over the Cardinal (6-2).
